The suicide rate continues to increase and not just for celebrities. I was reading today about an Indian Reservation, "Pine Ridge" where the rate of suicides has increased among its youth. My heart goes out to these young people who are obviously in despair. I wonder where the church is in South Dakota where 103 suicide attempts have been report between March and December? Those are just reported cases. We have to wake up, pray, and then move. We have to move out and minister to the needs of these people. Faith without works is dead.

In the wake of the death of Robin Williams, my heart has been pricked to start a prayer movement that would blanket the earth, covering celebrities, and those with a large platform, from the attacks of depression. Depression is a silent killer that has to be stopped. Without awareness and prayer, it will continue! Lets commit to pray daily that they would be surrounded by Ears, Eyes, Hearts, Hands, and Prayers that will keep them from making fatal decisions to end their lives when they experience "dark places."
